We are seeking at least one more designer in the categories below. In the immediate future, we will be enhancing our workflow on current work, while we diversify our roster of projects. Collaboration, improvisation, deadlines, attention to detail, and a positive outlook define the work environment.

Positions Available:

Designer I (Part-time position, 0.5 to 3 years professional experience)
Essential Responsibilities
- Creation of study drawings and drawing sets for all phases of design
- Physical and digital models for design exploration and visualization
- Take personal ownership of completeness of information, use of available evidence and strategic use of time to effectively propel the work
- Over time, steadily absorb and integrate local code and engineering standards and inputs into the work we do
- Ensure schedule and progress drawing delivery milestones are fulfilled
- Follow all project communications for thorough understanding of priorities and expected outcomes for our clients
- Housekeeping… we’re all doing it
Experience and qualifications we’re looking for
- 6mo to 3 years professional architectural and/or CAD experience
- Some exposure to building permit approvals process
- Web design experience
- Proficient with software for word processing, spreadsheets, graphic design, and CAD
- At least 1 year progress toward Masters Degree
- Strong modeling & graphic experience
- Independent design pursuits and explorations that sympathize with ours
- Growth mindset: takes initiative in the direction of constant improvement of design process and results.
- Detail oriented and organized
- Thrives on tracking and progress with multiple assignments
- Strong prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills, in person, by phone, and in writing
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Dedicated to licensure and actively pursuing NCARB experience credits
- Some exposure to public project RFP search and preparation

Designer II / Project Manager (Full-time position, 3-6 years professional experience)
Qualifications and Responsibilities
- M. Arch graduate
- Ability to perform and guide others on all of the above.
- Demonstrated experience propelling projects through permitting and to project close-out.
- Experience with commercial, public and residential project execution.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including consultants.
- Technical proficiency with building systems
- Understanding of the relationship between climate forces and building envelope performance.
- Client communication.
